Hello, I’m Maya. I make pictures for stories, people and good ideas.

Born in London, I split my time between a drafty studio in Hackney and a small flat with sun-soaked tiles in Lisbon. I have been illustrating professionally since 2018, for magazines, publishers and brands that like a bit of personality.

My work starts with observation: gestures, colours and quiet moments collected in sketchbooks on trains and in cafés. Those drawings become editorial illustrations, book covers, packaging and prints.
